A government official in Hunan who was suspended on suspicion of corruption had been given away by his very own daughter, reports said on Tuesday.
Two reports targeting Inspections Liaison Group Deputy Director Teng Shu-qi were posted by a web user under the name “ftg12345” on rednet.cn, a news reporting site based in Hunan.
In one of the posts, the self-proclaimed daughter of Teng stated that her name was Teng Ziyi, born in 1993, and that her mother was a senior high school teacher. She wrote that because of her female identity she had been neglected by both Teng and her grandmother since she was small.
“For a long period of time, my father has been indulging in disgusting orgies of eating and drinking, as well as gambling and prostitution,” she said. “He has even been keeping mistresses and has a five-year-old illegitimate son.”
In another post, Teng was also accused of corruption during the bidding process of multiple construction projects. Details taken from one of Teng’s alleged notebooks, including time stamps, receipts and transaction amounts, were also listed.
Teng was also accused of assisting in the escape of a criminal at large.
Teng denied having committed any of the alleged crimes, explaining that the post was a result of his wife manipulating his daughter.
The local authority has suspended Teng’s duties while the case is being investigated.
