The gate of a junior high school in Zhengzhou, Henan province was blocked up with piles of debris deposited there by vengeful parents, angry that their children had failed to test into the school.
According to NetEase, the gate of the prestigious school was found to be locked by several unhappy parents on July 15. Knowing that the school had sent for a locksmith to open the gate, the parents came back another evening and spread two piles of garbage out in front of the entrance.
Once the school had cleaned up the rancid garbage in front of their entrance, the parents tried something a little harder to tidy up the next week—giant piles of debris.
Residents in the know told reporters that the parents did this to voice their anger at the fact that their children had failed to gain admission to the school.
Naturally, netizens had a few things to say on this matter.
One netizen from Guangzhou wrote, “Like father like son. With parents that act like that, it’s not too difficult to imagine how the kids are. It’s a wise decision that the school didn’t recruit them!”
“If students were actually tested fairly, you wouldn’t see this kind of thing as much,” another netizen named shslyx1978 responded.
“Where are the chengguan?” one Jiangxi user wondered.
Nothing is stronger than a parent’s love.
