A female netizen from Shanghai took to the internet after finally building up the nerve to ask out the handsome screen protector vendor of her dreams only to find him gone from his usual spot.
According to Weibo user @大鲨鱼1913, a few days ago the woman paid a visit to a stall at an entrance of West Nanjing Road Metro Station to swap her phone’s screen protector. Upon her arrival, she fell in love at first sight with the suave seller.
Because the man was surrounded by a handful of other customers, she didn’t have the nerve to strike up a conversation with him. Instead, she secretly snapped a few pictures of him with her iPad while waiting in line.
She only managed to say a shy “Thank you” to her crush before walking back home with her head hung low.
After returning home she looked over her pictures and deeply regretted not saying more to him. She decided that she would go back and ask for his phone number taking her friend along for encouragement. Unfortunately, when she returned it was too late. The seller had left.
Not one to give up on true love. She then somehow summoned up the courage to write a post online seeking help from fellow netizens living in Shanghai in finding her Prince Charming.
Maybe she should just try moving to Taiwan where the streets are full of hotties?
