The festival includes SWFC Got Talent, a kid’s talent contest featuring Shanghai’s most exceptional kids. Talents can include singing, dancing, musical instruments, martial arts and more. Infinity Summer Music Festival @ Shanghai Golf Park
Infinity Summer and Mook present a brand new music festival for Shanghai. It’s a carnival-themed rave, similar to EDC. Headliners include Dzeko & Torres, ALVARO, Roger Shah, Ben Nicky, Sonny Wharton, and Genik. So, lots of trance and house. Expect lots of activities, in addition to the music. There’s also buses going from Mook Club every hour to the festival location in Minhang, starting at 2pm. Buy tickets here.

Female Generals of the Yang Family @ Yi Fu Theatre
Set in Song Dynasty China, when the imperial court was embroiled in a conflict with the Kingdom of Western Xia, Female Generals of the Yang Family (杨门女将) deviates from tradition in its portrayal of strong female characters (She Taijun, Mu Guiying). The play unfolds with the death of Yang Zongbao, the second-to-last male heir to the imperial throne. The subsequent plot revolves around the female members of the Yang family as they devise ways to protect the remaining male heir to the throne, Yang Wenguang. Buy tickets here.

Concert of Ideality @ Power Station of Art
Shanghai trip hop act Running Blue perform at the Power Station of Art as part of Ilya and Emilia Kabakov’s Dream City exhibition at the museum. The show will apparently be ‘themed around the third movement of Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony in e minor’. Admission to the performance is free provided visitors hold a valid ticket for the Dream City exhibition.

Juventus vs. Lazio. The 2015 Supercoppa Italiana will be the 28th edition of the Supercoppa Italiana, Italian football supercup, to be played on 8 August 2015 at the Shanghai Stadium in Shanghai. 10 years ago in C’s basement on Dingxi Lu, the first ever Antidote party was held. Here the crew returns to that dingy C’s basement for a night of music and installations dotted around all the nooks and crannies. Should be lotsa fun.
