Today in completely reasonable reactions: a woman from Harbin, Heilongjiang province bit off a chunk of another woman’s ear after she’d kicked her pet poodle.
The non-canine victim, a 19-year-old female surnamed Shuang, had returned to her residential complex when the small dog came running towards her, barking loudly. Nervous about being bitten, Shuang kicked the pup as it charged towards her, much to the discontent of the dog’s owner, a woman in her 40s, who saw the ordeal as she was walking behind the poodle.
A fight broke out, Shuang hit the older woman with her purse and, as you can expect, she reacted by attacking the younger woman and biting a piece of her ear off, CCTV News reports, citing a report from Heilongjiang TV.
As crowds rushed over to watch the fight of Holyfield-Tyson proportions, the older woman fled with her little poodle in tow.
Shuang was taken to a hospital and was told that one-third of her ear had been taken off in the gory match. Police are now trying to track down her attacker, who remains at large.
