Shanghai Book Fair @ Shanghai Exhibition Centre
Shanghai’s biggest book fair is back from August 19 to 25. There will 605 events to attend including book signings, discussions, and Q&As. Most of the authors attending will be Chinese, but there will also be a small percentage of well known foreign authors.

Shanghai Ever @ Museum of Contemporary Art
Check out the group exhibition at MoCA as a celebration for the museum’s 10-year anniversary. The exhibition features works from artists such as Ding Yi, Zhou Tiehai, Yang Yongliang and Pan Jianfeng. On from July 11 through October 10. Get more information here.

Swan Lake – Moscow Ballet Theatre @ Shanghai Oriental Art Center
The Classical Russian Ballet of Moscow is kicking off a nationwide tour of China with its signature ice ballet Swan Lake. This production of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece will feature contemporary ice dancing maneuvers artfully combined with ballet to retell the timeless story of Prince Siegfried and swan queen Odette.
