Where to go, what to do this weekend in Shanghai. Read on for Shanghaiist’s picks.
Donghai Music Festival @ Zujiajian Nanshan
Locally-focused music festival on a beach island about 3-4 hours outside of Shanghai. A pretty solid line-up for a small scale festival. Everyday there’s a couple of pretty big headliners, like Lisa Ono, Lenka, 窦唯, Blademark 刃記, and EXITA. For the local support, if you are familiar with the Chinese pop / rock scene you might have seen these acts a thousand times already: Chang Shilei, Top Floor Circus, Shao Yibei, Zhou Yunpeng, Li Zhi etc. Considering there will be beach and sea, and some relaxing bossa nova from Lisa Ono, this might be a good choice for a weekend getaway. More info HERE.
