Entrepreneurs in Xi’an just continue to innovate, finding new and more efficient ways of giving city residents the freshest goat milk possible. Meet their newest tool: the goat van.
Last month, we reported on a cunning couple in Xi’an who provided freshly squeezed goat milk straight from the teat, right on the street, at 10RMB a pop. While some of our readers found something to be desired in their business plan, we think that no one will be able to find fault in this family’s strategy.
Led by 55-year-old mastermind Huang Baili, the Huang family drives into town early each morning in their customized family van. The back two seats of the van have been taken out and are filled with nothing but goat. Six of them. Regular visitors line up in the early morning on street corners with bottles waiting to be filled.
Local news reports of the quality of the goat milk is extremely positive and with the mobile approach, getaways should be much easier when the chengguan come poking around.
Btw, the State Food and Drug Administration would like to remind you not to drink unpasteurized milk, no matter how clean the goat may seem.
This is only further evidence that if you’re going to invest in anything right now in China, it should probably be a goat.
