Florentijn Hofman’s iconic giant rubber duck is now taking up residence in Cherry Lake at the Hunan Forest Botanical Gardens in Changsha.
The official exhibition begins on Thursday, but maybe wait a little bit and make a trip to see the Eighth Wonder of the World during Golden Week instead.
We just hope that Hunan treats the duck the way it should be treated and don’t just use the opportunity to cash in, like some cities we know. The duck can be kind of sensitive and sometimes can get rather swept away.
Admittedly, we sort of lost track of the giant yellow fellow after it left Shanghai in November of last year, but absence really only makes the heart grow fonder, not fowler.
Duck is back!
