Run Without Boundaries @ Century Park
A 5k charity run organised by non-profit organisation Run Without Boundaries. The organisation is partnered with Yunnan Youth Development Foundation, raising funds to send children in northern China to school. Elementary school education costs 200 RMB per child, moddle school is 300 RMB and high school 400 RMB. Participants are encouraged to collect as many donations as they can for the charity, every little helps. The meeting point on Saturday morning is exit 5 at Century Park MRT station.

Shalanaya Festival @ Siji Baiguoyuan
The most crazy-looking, psychedelic rave left on the calendar this year. Shalanaya takes place out near Zhujiajiao, known as a water town tourist attraction, starting at 5pm Friday and finishing at 11am Saturday and the same again on Saturday. You can camp there and party all weekend!

Dancing Moominvalley @ Shanghai Children’s Art Theatre
Do you remember the kids cartoon ‘The Moomins’? Dancing Moominvalley, which had it’s premiere in Spring 2010, is a dance production based on Tove Jansson’s book The Tales from the Moominvalley. Dancing Moominvalley takes a new approach to the Moomins but the themes are familiar to those who have read the books.
