Every Thursday POP BAR turns into the Bund social club, holding a massive chill-out party called Sunset Social. MIDI Electronic Festival @ MIDI Taihu Festival Camp
The music festival organised by the Mansion is located 2 hours away from Shanghai, in Suzhou. For the next 3 days, MIDI features live punk, metal and electronic acts, as well as around 80 Chinese DJs. The best part is, the venue isn’t just stages and after-party venues, it also has a mini-water park and some amusement park rides!

Glamour Tango @ Shanghai Oriental Art Centre
A multimedia music and dance show, GlamourTango takes the audience on a musical journey through the 20th century according to, musical director, Polly Ferman’s vision of the role of women in Tango. The all female musicians and dancers perform 20 arrangements, choreographed by Mariana Parma.

From 1992 To The Future @ The Shelter
The Shanghai apostles of techno-music, VOID, curate The Shelter’s first ever film screening. ‘Jeff Mills: The Exhibitionist 2’ (unofficial screening in the PRC) is a documentary about the prophet of techno-music, who began his career in 1980s Detroit, launched Axis records in 1992, now scores films and even exhibits at the Louvre. VOID DJ later, ‘A Retrospective to Axis Records’, so it looks like a big night for all you techno freaks out there in Shanghai.
