Recently, villagers in Hainan spotted a dolphin stranded on the beach. They tried to help the poor creature back into the sea, but it just kept swimming back onto shore.
Not willing to give up on the dolphin, villagers brought an umbrella to shield it from the hot sun and used a bucket to take water from the sea and pour the water onto the beached sea animal.
Eventually, the dolphin was transported to a wildlife rescue center, workers there say that the animal has a problem with its inner navigation system.
The villagers acted much more heroically than did a group of tourists in Hainan in 2013, who reacted to a wounded dolphin by lifting it up and posing with it for pictures.
