On Thursday, F1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen raced American base jumping legend Jeb Corliss to the bottom of China’s Tianmen Mountain in Hunan as part of a Mercedes-Benz AMG event. Häkkinen who has had 20 career wins is most famous for beating Michael Schumacher at Spa in 2000.
Jeb Corliss has famously performed several daredevil feats in China including flying through a 3 meter wide gap in Zhejiang mountains, as well as jumping off a helicopter to perform the first ever wingsuit stunt in China.
Admittedly, this stunt is far more exciting than the aerial acrobatics performed at the Kerry centre earlier today, and infinitely more exciting than China’s “butt skipping” stuntman.
