This 48 hour Art invasion is taking place in several locations around Shanghai, beginning at one-minute-past-midnight on Saturday and continuing until midnight on Sunday. Shanghai Running @ Gucun Forest Park
Three races at the scenic forest park in Baoshan, a 5km under 13s and under 16s school race, 10km and half marathon adult races. The entry fee for the school run is 150 RMB and the adults fee is 200 RMB.

French Week @ Yandang Road
The 14th year of French Week, supported by the French Consulate in Shanghai, will take place in the pedestrianised section of Yandang Road. The street stalls showcase French produce, food, wine and fashion. There will also be accordion music, mosaic-art classes and games of petangque (boules).

Shanghai Rolex Masters ATP Tennis @ Qi Zhong Tennis Center
The men’s finals at the Shanghai Masters is between Novak Djokovic and Jo-Wilfred Tsonga starting at 4:30pm, and there is the doubles final at 1:30pm. Almost every day has been sold out so far, but the scalpers have plenty of tickets on the door if you’re willing to pay. Finals day tickets should be well over 1000 RMB.

JZ Festival @ Expo Park
From humble beginnings in Shanghai, JZ Club has become one of the biggest jazz music organisations in the PRC with venues in Wuhan, Shenzhen and more. This will be their 11th annual jazz festival, headlined by Joss Stone and Victor Wooten.

Hear the Way in the Morning @ QSW Culture Centre
Based on a novel by Liu Cixin, Hear the Way in the Morning is a 3-part multimedia performance. It comprises of an electronic production of Chopin’s “24 Preludes, Op. 28” performed live by a pianist, and a Chinese folk-tale called Diaochan. The show is performed in Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles.
