The Moon Opera @ Children’s Art Theatre of China Welfare
Based on the novel by Bi Feiyu, the tragic story of an opera singer who falls from fame then rises from the ashes is told through music and dance. RAW international Arts festival is showing the dance for two-days on October 19th and 20th.

WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne @ Shanghai Grand Theatre
Founded in 1947, the symphony orchestra from Cologne is one of the six famous orchestras of Germany, according to the Shanghai Grand Theatre. Conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste and violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann will play Brahms Violin Concerto and Brahms Fourth Symphony.

Hear the Way in the Morning @ QSW Culture Centre
This show is only scheduled for the 16th and 18th according to the poster, but Damai are selling tickets for a performance on the 19th as well. Based on a novel by Liu Cixin, Hear the Way in the Morning is a 3-part multimedia performance. It comprises of an electronic production of Chopin’s “24 Preludes, Op. 28” performed live by a pianist, and a Chinese folk-tale called Diaochan. The show is performed in Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles.
