NFL Home Field & University Bowl VII @ Luwan Stadium
NFL China caps off its NFL Home Field season by pitting the country’s best university football teams against each other. In addition, there are a number of interactive games and on-field clinics open to the public, as well as plenty of treats for hardcore NFL fans like the Vince Lombardi Trophy (Super Bowl Trophy) and special guest NFL legends from the Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl XLIII Championship team, Troy Polamalu, Ryan Clark and Ike Taylor.

ART021 @ Shanghai Exhibition Centre
The annual ART021 contemporary art fair at Shanghai Exhibition Centre opens to the public on Saturday and Sunday. This year they’re bringing yet more galleries from around the world as well as a new section, which showcases emerging artists’ work.

PIMO Contemporary Art Festival @ Madein Company
From out of nowhere comes PIMO Contemporary Art Festival in Songjiang showcasing open studios of the artists in residence, performances, films, installations sculptures and paintings galore. This is the festival’s debut show and it only goes on until Monday so today’s your last chance.

Lacrimosa @ MAO Livehouse
Darkness descends on MAO Livehouse as gothic band Lacrimosa pulls up into Shanghai on chariots from Hell. The German heavy metal band are very popular in the PRC so the cheap early bird tickets have already sold out, but if you’re willing to pay full-price there are standard tickets for 550 RMB, and VIP tickets for 1080 RMB that come with autographed photos and posters.

Naoko Tanaka [email protected] JZ Club
Naoko Takana gets freaky with the jazz piano at JZ tonight from 9:30pm until late, playing tracks from her debut album ‘Memories’. She is famed for her masterful piano skills, having accompanied many great jazz musicians and featured at JZ since 2012.
