The Academy Award nominations for Best Foreign Language Film for the 2016 Oscars have yet to be announced, but a strong contender has emerged on the Chinese internet recently, starring a man, a hammer and an ATM machine.
An ATM surveillance camera in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province caught the incredibly expressive facial expressions of a man in a hoodie as he seems to go through an amazing journey of hesitation and discovery before using a hammer to smash up the cash machine and dash away.
The man’s face manages to tell more in just over a minute than many seasoned actors are able to convey over an entire feature-length film. Here are some screenshots for his portfolio:

Apparently, police have inspected the footage and determined that by the type of hammer the guy used that he is likely a worker at a nearby shoe factory. China’s next great actor may soon be discovered!
