The airpocalypse nearly claimed a victim the other day when a woman from the Anhui province went missing in it for an entire day. Reportedly, the woman, surnamed Hu, went out early to visit a relative in the Bowang District of Ma’anshan city, and wasn’t located until late that evening.
After Hu, who was unable to operate a phone, had failed to report to her relatives’ residence, her husband Xia contacted the police.
Eventually, the woman was found, after a two-hour search, in a forest near the road, much to the relief of her husband and two children.
The family evidently missed CCTV’s handy-dandy smog survival guide. If you are venturing out into the grey stuff today, we would also recommend making some outlines of various landmarks, wearing bright orange and hauling around an industrial vacuum cleaner, just in case.
