The photographer Stefen Chow 赵峰 has unveiled his series “The Poverty Line” as well as a brand new work commissioned for the Parisian festival Les Nuits Photographiques (17 September -12 December 2015), during which this interview was conducted.
“The Poverty Line” (started in 2010) is a visual project created in collaboration with the economist Lin Hui-Yi. It contextualizes the notion of poverty across several continents and portrays the food items that poor and impoverished people can afford each day.
