A number of pole dancers gave an outdoor pole dance performance in freezing temperatures earlier today to show their support for a boycott on fur clothing.
According to NetEase, the performance took place at a scenic spot in Changchun, Jilin province.
29-year-old Song Yao, a member of the Chinese national pole dance team joined the group with their performance in an effort to call for people to be more considerate to animals and to say “no” to fur coats in winter.
A small crowd gathered to watch the performance, with many in the audience pulling out their smartphones to take pictures and record the performance.
After performing outside in the sub-zero temperatures, several of the dancers had to be helped back indoors as they had frozen stiff.
