A 28-year-old man was killed following a high-speed collision which took place in the Pudong New District of Shanghai on Friday.
According to Shanghai Daily, surveillance footage shows the victim, surnamed Wei, being knocked down by a speeding Audi outside a branch of KFC.
Following the incident the driver of the Audi does not stop or even slow down, instead he forces his way through some barriers at a nearby shopping center and makes his escape.
Wei was rushed to a nearby hospital, but sadly died of a brain hemorrhage the next day. Local police caught up with the 32-year-old driver the next day after tracing his car. He then surrendered to the authorities. Police have not confirmed if he was under the influence of alcohol or other drugs at the time of the crash.
