To mark the turn of a new year, as a labor of love, we painstakingly compiled a list of our favorite things that got spilled on the street in China during 2015, taking a fond look back at the oranges, fish, eggs and even money that ended up strewn all over the roadside.
But everything is a cycle and now we must begin once again with yet another fish spill, this one taking place in Anshun city of Guizhou province.
On Tuesday, a truck on a highway from Guizhou to Kunming took a turn for the worse, spilling the entire contents of its fishy cargo out onto the highway and ultimately delaying traffic for three hours, according to NetEase.
It wasn’t until around 10:22 a.m., after traffic police worked together to clean up the spill, that the road was clear once again.
Due to the cold weather (and lack of water), the fish were soon dead, creating an unfortunate loss of life for the fish and an unfortunate loss of profit for the transport company.
Still, for looters, it’s already shaping up to be quite the year!
