Early on the morning of February 15th, a truck carrying more than 300 live goats spontaneously caught fire while on its way from Guilin to Liuzhou in Guangxi.
Reports say the truck was a mere 10 kilometers away from the exit to the city of Liuzhou on the Guangxi Expressway when its rear tire suddenly ignited.
NetEase reports that the Liuzhou fire department was quickly dispatched to the scene, where they promptly extinguished said fire. Nobody was hurt in the accident, unless you count the 300 or so goats that were roasted alive.
An investigation is in progress.
Back in November, a similar event transpired on an expressway in Guangdong when 2,000 ducks were roasted too soon in a spontaneous fire.
