Madonna isn’t the only marquee visitor to Singapore this week, Chinese Internet celebrity Liu Zichen, better known as “snake spirit boy,” also arrived in the Lion City on Wednesday.
However, he isn’t doing a lot to endear himself to Singaporean fans, upon arrival he posted a message on Facebook saying: “I hate this classless place the most.”
Apparently, Liu has some sort of beef with Singapore. Earlier this month, he took to Facebook to say that he looks down on Singaporeans for not being able to speak their own language.
“Don’t think you are better than me just because you can speak some English. I can’t speak English, but I’m still higher class than you,” he wrote, in a post that has since been taken down.
Unsurprisingly, Singaporean netizens have responded by telling Liu to just get the fuck out and don’t come back.
If before this post you were somehow unfamiliar with China’s “snake spirit boy” you should know that he came to everyone’s attention last year with a nude photo shoot showing off his rather distinctive form, which he claimed was all natural.
However, pictures leaked online later that year showing what a young “snake spirit boy” looked like that has drawn considerable doubt to his claim.
