Chinese thrill-seekers will soon have yet another very high and very transparent walkway to choose from to walk carefully across and get their kicks.
This 1,00-meter-long and 1.6-meter-wide glass skywalk is found on the side of a valley outside of Tongren, Guizhou province. It is more than 100 meters down to the valley floor.
Xinhua reports that the walkway has recently “passed a safety test,” which considering the pictures, may just involve having actual tourists give it a go, hoping they won’t drop anything. It will be formally opened in May, mark your calendars!
Hell, why not schedule an entire whirlwind trip of China’s scary things to walk across while you’re at it? There’s this see-through walkway in Hebei, this terrifying one in Chongqing and yet another newly-opened one in Chongqing that was jam-packed with tourists over the holiday.
And let us not forget that the world’s highest AND longest glass-bottom bridge will finally open in Zhangjiajie in May.
