Yesterday in Beijing, on the first day of this year’s Lianghui — or “Two Sessions,” a set of dual meetings of the CPPCC and NPC in which important stuff gets “decided” — the biggest revelation was the banning of once ubiquitous selfie sticks inside the Great Hall of the People.
However, today, Chinese reporters have uncovered what will likely be the biggest scandal to emerge from the meetings — Yao Ming apparently has only one formal sweater.
How did they figure it out? Let’s check the evidence: First, here’s Yao looking obviously suspicious yesterday.
Reporters pounded him with tough questions.
But he remained tight-lipped.
That’s when journalists decided to go back into the archives. Here’s Yao on March 11, 2015. Notice anything familiar?
It’s the same damn shirt! If in better light.
But intrepid reporters didn’t stop there. Going all the way back to 2014.
And once again, found the former NBA All-Star repping Reebok.
Yao can hide his secret no longer.
The game is up.

Still more than a week of this left, everyone.
