Five men donning dresses and high heels scaled a metaphorical “ladder of love” up a mountain in Guangdong to mark International Women’s Day yesterday.
According to NetEase, the event was organized by the men’s wives in order to give their spouses an opportunity to experience how hard it is to be a woman — especially when hiking in impractical footwear.
This so-called “ladder of love” goes on for more than 3,000 meters, with 600 of those meters being quite steep.
As you might suspect, the men attracted quite a bit of attention on their journey of discovery. Some passing hikers couldn’t help whipping out their smartphones and snapping a picture of the guys looking so darn pretty.
Hopefully no upskirt shots though.
Maybe next year husbands can get together and climb this mountain while getting punched.
