Surveillance cameras in Anhui caught footage of a woman crossing the street and suddenly being struck from behind by a van, knocking her to the ground and dragging her underneath the vehicle.
The video continues to roll as passersby notice what has happened and rush to help. A crowd of around a dozen people gathers at the van, lifts it up and pulls out the woman. The whole thing takes only 48 seconds, but still must have seemed like a lifetime for her.
CCTV reports that she suffered only minor injuries in the crash, which took place on Friday.

Thanks to widespread public mistrust against scammers, Chinese have earned a reputation for being slow to help strangers in need. However, at least around here, they are also known for being able to lift up some large vehicles when need be at a moment’s notice, including cars, vans and even buses.
