The moment you have all been waiting for is here (kinda)!
Tickets for Shanghai Disneyland went on sale after midnight earlier this morning. While the park doesn’t open for another 11 weeks — on June 16th — you are encouraged to book early to reserve a spot to see the new happiest place on Earth.
You can purchase tickets on their website, by calling 400-180-0000 or 86-21-31580000, on their mobile app, through official travel partners and via the Alitrip Flagship Store.
But be warned! There’s a strict limit of five tickets per one ID card. Currently, you can book tickets all the way up to September 13th.
But, sadly, you are too late to buy tickets for opening day, those were sold out in the first 20 minutes as the official website continually crashed under the weight of the masses of early shoppers. Seems like opening day will be a blast!
Shanghai Disneyland prices will be the lowest in the world, with regular pricing set at 370 yuan ($57) and peak pricing at 499 yuan. Prices during the grand opening period (June 16-30) will be 499 yuan. Meanwhile, 25% discounts are available to children (1.4m and below), seniors (65 years old and older) and guests with disabilities. A two-day ticket will get you 5% off.
At this time, construction is nearly complete on the mainland’s first-ever Disneyland. If you are still somehow on the fence about going, Shanghai Disney released even more overhead pictures of the park, showing its castle, some buildings and a magical parking lot:
