Amid gossip that she is going steady with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Wendi Deng was spotted out splashing around the tropical beaches of St Barts, looking every bit the oligarchical eye candy.
Last week, Us Weekly ran an explosive report that Deng, Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife, was now “getting serious” with another very powerful man, according to an insider source. However, the actual evidence of said power couple is slimmer than Deng herself. The two have never actually been spotted together. However, Deng just so happens to be staying at St Barts on a $400 million yacht owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, a close friend of Putin.
The 47-year-old mother of two was photographed in a red bikini playing on the beach with her two children by Murdoch, Sina reports. After looking at the pictures, some netizens began to figure out what Putin might see in such a woman.
“Two kids, 47 years old, and she still looks like that?! It’s amazing what money does to a woman’s figure,” one netizen commented.
“She looks incredible, Mr. Putin must be very pleased,” another wrote in.
Still, this being the internet and all, the majority of commenters weren’t as kind to Deng.
“She may look good, but she’s way more trouble than she’s worth,” one netizen commented.
“She has some otherworldly power to bewitch men into falling for her. It’s the only explanation,” another replied.
“Putin could do better,” another said.
The Russian leader was last linked to 32-year-old Russian gymnast Alina Kabaeva, and rumors of his interest in Deng surprised many. Still, it shouldn’t be surprising that Deng looks good in a bikini. Her marriage with Murdoch broke up partly because his son discovered diaries where she waxed poetic about another world leader’s hot bod. Once again:
Whatever why I’m so so missing Tony. Because he is so so charming and his clothes are so good. He has such good body and he has really really good legs Butt . . . And he is slim tall and good skin. Pierce blue eyes which I love. Love his eyes. Also I love his power on the stage . . . and what else and what else and what else . . .
These two definitely deserve one another.
