Ok, everyone might just want to keep their kids home sick from school tomorrow.
A rockslide occured at around 11:30 a.m. today, at a village in Rong’an county, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The primary school at the foot of the hill was pummeled by rocks, with massive boulders bursting through one classroom full of first and second graders.
Xinhua reports that 21 students were injured, seven of them seriously, though none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Local officials responded by immediately dispatching a team of rescue workers to help and investigators to find out what went wrong. We aren’t experts, but it might have something to do with the location.
Just in the past week, Chinese schoolkids have been carried away by tornadoes, found out that their school may be giving them cancer and made to battle in some sadistic “kindergarten fight club.” It’s no wonder they are fighting back.
