After years of anticipation, the moment we have all been waiting for is finally here! The Disney Resort station has finally opened its doors in Shanghai, allowing visitors to race over and look out at the still unopened park.
Located at the far end of Line 11, we have to admit that the station is looking much more magical than when we saw it last. According to Shanghai Daily, it is just a quick 10-minute walk to the theme park. There are four exits from the metro station, though No. 1 seems to be the one to use.
Additionally, officials warn that security at this station will be much tighter than usual, with ALL passengers and luggage being scanned before riding.

In case you are already somehow not hyped enough about the impending opening of Shanghai Disneyland, you can now take a Disney-themed plane to Shanghai, before hopping off at the Disney metro station and walking to the closed gates of Disneyland.
Alternatively, you can take the bus. Those started operation today too.
