Shanghai PRIDE opens a discussion on the holistic wellbeing of the LGBT community in Shanghai from personal perspectives, both physically and mentally. Get down to the Shanghai American Center and hear from 3 wonderful speakers, Liu Shi (China AIDS Walk Organizer; Gay Games Silver Medallist), Olivia Chiu (The Clinic Psychologist) and Nate Balfanz (American Medical Centre Psychologist).

Healing Arts Festival @ The Market
Go with the flow and stroll around the Healing Arts Festival at The Market on Aomen Road. Organized by grassroots organisation Shanghai Awakening, this event aims to connect people on their spiritual path, with stalls from body workers, energy healers, Qi arts masters and mind-body specialists who can guide you in finding peace in this busy city.

Shanghai PRIDE: Film Festival opening @ The Pearl
Rouge your lips and zip up your party boots kick for the opening of ShanghaiPRIDE Film Festival at The Pearl. The short film competition aims to promote Chinese queer narratives and the winning Best Film will be presented at Iris Prize (UK), with a chance to win £30,000 in production funding. Stick around for the after-party from 7.30pm – open to all party queens.

Tiki Magic: Mixologist Daniele Dalla Pola @ Calypso

Shanghai PRIDE: Seasons of Love @ Pudong New Theatre
Muju theatre group performs an original love drama at Pudong New Theatre, inspired by the four seasons. Part of the Shanghai PRIDE festival, the play features an entirely female cast and you can catch the final matinee performance at 2:30pm.
