China’s national swimming team arrived in Rio on July 31st to prepare to take part in the 2016 Summer Olympics. Photos of their practice sessions have been published, reminding everyone why they are all such big swimming fans — 23-year-old ridiculously good-looking swimming star Ning Zetao.

In order to get himself familiar with the site, Ning has began adaption training at the Rio Olympic Aquatics Stadium, Sina News reports, presumably raising the temperature of the swimming pool a few degrees with his sheer hotness.

In case the Chinese people were not already excited enough about these Olympics, Ning participated in a promotional photo shoot, posing shirtless in front of China’s national flag. So this is why everyone’s been feeling so patriotic lately!

Of course, Ning isn’t just another handsome face, he’s also a world-class swimmer. Last year, he shocked the world by claiming a historic gold medal in the men’s 100m freestyle at the world swimming championships in Russia. Ning’s fans are expecting big things out of him at Rio as well.
