International Women Artists Exhibition @ Long Museum
The Long Museum at the West Bund is hosting the very first exhibition in China, ‘She’, that features 105 women artists from 13 countries spanning over 10 centuries. This exhibit displays the works of Tracey Emin, Yoko Ono, Louise Bourgeois, Lu Xiaoman, Pan Yuliang. ‘She’ narrates the rise of women from a macro perspective and hopes to raise awareness and garner more support for the the achievements of women in art and society. Ongoing until the end of October, entry fee is ¥100 and is open from 10am to 530pm everyday.

Textile Exhibition @ the National Exhibition and Convention Centre
Gateway to Asia’s home living and Asia’s leading home textile event – Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles will be held from August 24th to the 27th at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre. It is a dynamic platform for industry professionals to source and to gain design inspirations through product displays and the fringe programme. Home textile professionals don’t miss out! Last year there were 1400 exhibitors with over 40,000 visitors.

Jam Session @ Ocean Grounds
Modern coffee shop Ocean Grounds has a jam session today from 9pm onwards. All musicians are welcome to play on stage and there’ll be cocktail, beer and wine specials.

Salsa Night @ Shanghai Brewery
Every Wednesday, Shanghai Brewery hosts a salsa dancing night for everyone. Come out, have some fun and Salsa the night away at their Hengshan Road branch from 930pm onwards. This event recurrs every Wednesday and there is no entry fee.
