So, what with the typhoons and all, this wasn’t the best Mid-Autumn Festival for moon gazers in China. But, apparently there were some places where you could see the full moon shining through. Seems like Changsha was the place to be. Enjoy:

Much less the “blood moons” of years past.
In fact, performers at the ancient Shaolin Temple were forced to make their own moon. This being China, the mock moon is being called the largest man-made moon to ever grace the sky — 20 meters in length and rising 100 meters above the ground. Wax on. wax off.
And of course, the best view of the moon in the country was from right in the middle of Beijing.
