Beyond The Bund Fest @ CREATION
Get ready to be inspired to act by new ideas! Beyond The Bund is a platform in Shanghai that puts up a diverse range of activities that are embedded within the Chinese culture and one that the seniors are keen to share. The event is free and it will be a festival of ideas, talks, interactive performances and radical speakers challenging the perception of the future. Tickets are ¥180 to ¥300.
The Great Australian Ball 2016
AustCham Shanghai, in partnership with Australian Shanghai Association, has organised a Bachelor & Spinster (B&S) Ball in Shanghai. You can leave your ute at home but dust off your Akubras and boots and join them among the hay bales for a night of free-flow beer and wine, delicious family-style grub, drinking games, and live entertainment to keep you dancing until the wee hours. The ball is their biggest fundraising event of the year, with proceeds from the night supporting the non-profit Shanghai Roots and Shoots.
Shanghai Wine & Dine Festival @ Expo Park
The Shanghai Wine & Dine Festival is back again for a second edition this year from September 23rd to 25th with over 1,000 wine varieties, 2,500 food items, workshops and performances. They’ll be serving dishes such as Foie Gras de Canard, parma ham, Frankfurter sausage, lasagna, tapas, churros and more. This festival is the largest food and wine festival in China and unites different countries and regions in the world. Supported by various international consulates of Shanghai, this year the national pavilions will feature masterclasses and food pairings.
