Queen & Adam Lambert concert
Queen and Adam Lambert is performing at the Mercedes-Benz Arena tonight. on September 26, which will make new history as the band’s first-ever show in China. The show is presented by AEG Live. Their spectacular 2016 touring show has been tailor crafted for the band by some of the world’s most cutting edge creative talents who between them have provided innovation, design, lighting and special effects to some of the most iconic shows on the planet.

On the Stage of Life @ M97 gallery
From today until November 12th, M97 Gallery hosts an exhibition of a collection of vintage photographs from the fifties and 60s by renowned award-winning photographer Fan Ho. He has won 280 awards from international exhibitions and competitions worldwide since 1956 and is also a celebrated film directorand actor. Admission is free.

Swing dance party @ JZ Latino

Art in the City @ K11 Art Space
Art In The City turns 3 years old and upgrades its festival formula to highlight even more new art from China, more projects and more venues. Run with Girl Gone International @ The FFC

Beginner’s Calligraphy @ Craft’d
Calligraphy is another craft which has enjoyed a recent revival in popularity. It is a great, and simple, way of adding a personal touch to cards, letters and stationary. In this class you will begin by practicing a variety of strokes and letters using the calligraphy pen and inks. You will then be provided with practice papers and sample calligraphy alphabets that you can use in order to discover a style that suits you best. You will be able to take away a calligraphy pen and a pot of ink to continue practicing at home.This workshop is ¥300 and includes a glass of wine or soft drink, plus snacks.

Aesthesys @ MAO Livehouse
Showstart proudly presents the first China tour of Russian instrumental post-rock band Aesthesys. Founded as a one-man project back in 2007, Aesthesys has evolved into an ensemble performing post-rock music with neoclassical and ambient influences. The band has performed live across many European countries, including at the biggest post-rock festivals of Europe – Dunk festival in Belgium and Astral festival in Russia.

In this workshop, you will be able to pick and mix a range of natural ingredients, scents and essential oils to create your very own soaps. Lemon and poppy seeds? Orange and cinnamon? There is a range of moulds available, so you are able to choose between small individual soaps or a large rustic style block, which you can cut up. Whichever you choose, they will make perfect additions to your bathroom or to give as gifts.

One Love Reggae @ The Pearl
Enjoy a night of music tribute to reggae kings Bob Marley, Steel Pulse with the veteran band from Mauritus, Noukilla and a ti’punch. With lyrics in Creole, French and English, you’ll also learn to dance to the Sega music with two dancers. After the performance you are welcome to stay and dance all night with the sounds from POPASUDA and with Skinny Brown spinning on the decks. The dress code is green, black and red. Tim Burton exhibit
The four-story gallery at the Lafayette Arts and Design Centre is displaying Tim Burton’s Pop Surrealist designs that has captivated visitors at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 2009-2010. This exhibition shows more than 500 of Burton’s artworks, ranging from statues to impromptu napkin sketches that occurred to him in his day-to-day life.
