Over the years, Donald Trump’s hair has been compared to a lot of things, but we may have finally found a winner with this Chinese pheasant.
That’s “Little Red,” a 5-year-old golden pheasant living inside of the Hangzhou Safari Park. Recently, images of the bird have gone viral on Chinese social media after one keen-eyed reporter happened to notice that its hairdo looked strikingly similar to the president-elect’s own distinctive style.
The bird’s keeper surnamed Gao is also starting to see the similarities. “I had not noticed the likeness in the past because I had not paid particular attention to the pheasant’s hairstyle. But after Trump was elected President of America, I start seeing more pictures of him and I think the pheasant looks a little bit like him,” Gao told MailOnline.
“I expect more tourists to come to our zoo to see the pheasant now that he has been in the news,” he added.
Obviously, Chinese netizens are delighted with the comparison.
“Trump to wife: ‘Honestly, I’ve never even been to Hangzhou!'”
“Trump should financially support this bird until he graduates from university.”
Golden pheasants can be found in different places throughout the world, but are a protected species in China. Mostly, they live in western China in Gansu and Shaanxi provinces.
