Maxim Vengrov is both a violinist and a conductor. He is considered one of the world’s best musicians and has been considered the greatest living string player in the world today. Grammy winner Vengrov has been passionate about classical music ever since a young age.

Christmas Market @ Pudong Shangri-La
Experience a bustling Christmas Market in the heart of Lujiazui every Friday and Saturday from December 2nd to the 24th 5pm-9pm at Pudong Shangri-La. There is no entry fee. There will be Christmas crafts and ornaments, traditional festive treats such as fruit mince pies, gingerbread, Hungarian goulash and mulled wine served in a festive mug. You can even bring them home as a souvenir! With special Santa appearances, this is the perfect opportunity for everyone to gather and enjoy a wonderful evening of shopping, great food, drinks and company.

Riccardo Cecchetti @ Daguan Theatre

Riccardo Cecchetti plays both period and modern pianos, stressing special emphasis on chamber and solo classical and early romantic repertoire played on period instruments.
