Christmas came a little early this year for shoppers in one Guangzhou mall who were greeted by over a dozen hunky “Santas” dressed in Christmas hats, but not shirts.
A total of 16 shirtless Santas strutted their way through the mall in Tianhe District for 20 minutes on Saturday, showing off some rippling muscles taken straight from Mrs. Claus’ sweatiest fantasies.
The male models later reappeared outside in the middle of a public square next to the mall to pose for pics with passersby and presumably ask them seductively what they want for Christmas.
The organizer of the event told reporters that the display was all part of the mall’s plan of bringing a different kind of holiday cheer to shoppers, overturning their traditional impressions of Christmas and surprising them with a new image of Old Saint Nick.
If after the holidays, these Santas are looking to pick up a part-time gig, they can always apply for a job as a shirtless Spartan.
