China has wasted absolutely no time this year in opening up its latest insane creation that you can walk on.
On New Year’s Day, a massive floating walkway opened to visitors atop the Hongshui River in Luodian county, Guizhou province. The walkway stretches for over 50km and covers a total area of 54,000 square meters, meaning that if you want to walk it all, you’ll be walking for 10 hours.
In case you’re still having trouble comprehending the dimensions, multiple media outlets have emphasized that the walkway’s length is two times that of the island of Manhattan.
Already, over 60,000 tourists have visited the attraction. While you are walking, you can enjoy numerous different activities and sights, including a giant rubber duck. At night, thousands of lamps light up the walkway for visitors.
