Pigkind of Henan province, bow before your new ruler!
Over the weekend, this little piggy won the prestigious title of “Pig King” at a competition in Henan’s capital of Zhengzhou.
The pig’s win likely had something to do with its freakish size: 2.1 meters in length, 1,05 meters in height, and weighing in at 750kg. In case there was any doubt about his enormous girth, the hog’s weight was painted onto its body for all to see.
This porker is now three years old and apparently the only thing saving it from the slaughterhouse is its humongous size with the owner wanting to see just how big the pig will grow.
For reference, the biggest pig in recorded human history was “Big Bill” from Jackson, Tennessee, weighing in at 1,157 kg.
Will this hog become another Chinese record-holder someday? Its owner only needs to keep it off the diving board and it may just have a shot.
