Paco Peña embodies both authenticity and innovation in flamenco’s guitar playing and dance. As guitarist, composer, dramatist, producer and artistic mentor, he has transformed perceptions of this archetypal Spanish art form. Tickets are from ¥180.

River Dance @ Shanghai Grand Theatre
Enjoy the Irish theatrical classic – River Dance with music, dance and dancing champions Jean Butler and Michael Flatley at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. Originated from 1994, this show has been seen by over 25 million people and has been performed in over 450 venues worldwide. Tickets are on sale from ¥150 and the show is on from 7.15pm.

Icy Wonderland x QQfamily @ Shanghai Times Square
Collaborating with Tencent QQfamily, Shanghai Times Square presents the Icy Wonderland to celebrate the joyful Christmas season including cute QQfamily members, an igloo for karaoke, a 12-metre Christmas tree on the open piazza and an experience zone of Qlippie, a portable HD camera worn as accessory. The best part of this exhibit is the majestic Christmas tree, on which the QQfamily members will show up along the “Jingle Bells” noel at every hour.

‘Envision 2116’ Kicks Off @ Shanghai Project
Following phase 1 commencement in September, Shanghai Project has become a platform where new dialogues have been instigated by inviting practitioners from a variety of disciplines, including not only liberal arts and social science, but art, science, technology, medicine and ecology, among others. Shanghai Project continues to grow into a pan-Shanghai event as it forms partnerships with museums and art fairs throughout the city. Museum partners include Power Station of Art, Rockbund Art Museum and chi K11 Museum, as well as West Bund Art Fair and Photo Shanghai.
