Twin sisters, Audrey Doering and Gracie Rainsberry, were born in China, separated at birth and then adopted by two different American families living on opposite ends of the country. Yesterday, they met for the first time in person in a tearful reunion that was captured on live television.
The incredible moment was shown on ABC’s “Good Morning America” with a panel sliding away, leaving the 10-year-old twin sisters looking at each other face-to-face for the first time.
After their emotional reunion, Gracie, still in tears said that she was excited, happy and overwhelmed by the extraordinary meeting.
“It felt like there was something missing,” Audrey said. “Now, it’s complete.”
