Searching for a new and animal appropriate look for this Year of the Rooster? Well, tireless Chinese entrepreneurs have just the thing!
Downtown Chengdu is awash with people of all ages with tiny yellow roosters coming out of their heads. For vendors, the hairpieces have become a real golden egg.
“I sell four to five hundred hairbands a day and make thousands of yuan,” one vendor told West China Metropolis Daily.
Of course, fashionistas may remember a similar fashion trend from a few years ago featuring Beijingers with fake sprouts growing out of their heads. We lovingly dubbed those people as “Sproutheads.”
Which, we suppose, would make these people “Cockheads.”
