Following a fun-filled Spring Festival vacation with the family, people across China are heading back to their workplaces, and experiencing a little more “fun” on the way.
With millions clogging up the highways as the week-long national holiday comes to a close, it’s traffic jams galore across the country — but particularly near Beijing, like this hellish one outside of Shijiazhuang in Hebei province.
Some have apparently decided it would be easier to just walk.
Of course, by this point, Chinese travelers are well used to their national holiday system which encourages semi-annual traffic nightmares. And anyway, they know it could be a whole lot worse…
