Doctors in Guizhou were able to successfully remove a dart stuck in the forehead of a 6-year-old girl. It had become lodged there accidentally while she was playing with her older brother. Luckily, he did not quite throw a bull’s-eye.
However, the operation was a risky one and surgeons cautioned that if not done quickly and properly the little girl could go blind. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and the girl isn’t expected to have any complications from the accident.
According to Xinhua, the girl’s 7-year-old brother had picked up a dart off the ground and threw it at his sister while they were playing, nailing her right between the eyebrows.
