One Shanghai man stepped into every father’s worst nightmare after finding his sweet, little girl working as a hostess at a local nightclub.
The dad surnamed Zhang recently tracked his 14-year-old daughter to Mook, a popular club on Nanjing West Road, where he spotted her, scantily-dressed and selling alcohol to customers.

“I didn’t believe it at first until I saw her sitting behind the bar, wearing heavy make-up, cosmetic contact lenses and false eyelashes,” Zhang told Shanghai Radio. “Her cleavage was exposed, and I was scared to death when I saw her like that.”

Immediately, Zhang tried to convince his daughter to come home with him. However, she soon bolted out the back door and disappeared, refusing to answer her dad’s calls. Desperate to get his daughter back home safe and sound, Zhang began talking to local reporters about what had happened.
Zhang said that his daughter had confessed to him that she wasn’t the only underage girl working at the bar, claiming that there were at least six other girls under 16 working there, including one that allegedly hadn’t been home in over a year.
Shanghai Radio reporters did their own investigating, finding that you weren’t required to show your ID card to enter the club, and also discovering a girl who was only around 12 or 13 years old working behind the bar, before she was rushed away by other staff.

Since these findings have gone viral on Chinese social media, authorities in Shanghai’s Jing’an District have announced that they will carry out inspections on entertainment venues around the district.

Prior to this unseemly incident, Mook was perhaps most well-known for hosting Paris Hilton in 2014.
Seems like a classy establishment.
