Zhejiang police are now well-equipped for their hot date tonight following the seizure of a massive haul of counterfeit cosmetics worth around 827 million yuan ($120 million).
Police in Taizhou city seized more than 1,200 boxes of the stuff from a number of underground warehouses in town. Inside the boxes were a range of different high-end make-up brand labels including Chanel, Lancome, Christian Dior and Estee Lauder.
15 people were arrested for making, packaging and selling the mother lode of knockoff cosmetics. Police caught wind of the criminals the year before when they tried selling fake Amway products online.
Fake make-up, fake seasonings, fake jellyfish, and fake sanitary pads, being a consumer in China never gets old.
